Allison shares her journey of faith, from growing up in a Christian household to becoming lukewarm in college and eventually rediscovering her faith in Jesus. She emphasizes the importance of reading the Bible, finding community, and validating our feelings as we navigate the in-between seasons of our faith. Allison also discusses the challenges she faced, including her father's battle with cancer, and how trusting in God and leaning on His character helped her through those difficult times. She encourages listeners to choose to walk with Jesus in the in-between moments and to remember that He is always with us, even in the midst of suffering. We also discuss strategies for fighting fears and anxiety, such as naming the fear, acknowledging what can and cannot be controlled, and bringing Jesus into the mess. Enjoy!
