Rebuilt to Last: Refreshing Your Spiritual House & Staying Steadfast

In this episode we welcome a returning guest Vanessa, who encourages us to keep using our spiritual gifts even after being hurt and not to rush the rebuilding and healing process. Vanessa describes “rebuilt to last” as returning to basics, letting God guide growth, and allowing time to heal especially between relationships and during difficult seasons. She shares how God continues rebuilding her professionally through patience, wisdom, and humility, and uses the analogy of maintaining a spiritual “house” through daily renewal, prayer, and aligning with God’s Word. They discuss staying connected through prayer, worship, community, and Scripture, using your voice in church settings, prioritizing love over performative religion, forgiving others, and recognizing it’s sometimes necessary to leave a church that isn’t biblically aligned while keeping loyalty to Christ above leadership.
